The internet is a great way to find valuable information on medical conditions, available treatments, and treatment providers. However, knowing which sites to trust and how to navigate through them can be quite challenging. The Schwartz Group has committed to making this process as simple as possible in order for patients, families, and local professionals to find all the information they need regarding mental health. The links provided here are either home pages to general information or direct links to specific information of interest. Any information obtained from the links below should always be used in conjunction with professional care in order to be better informed. As always, any information from the links below is not intended as a substitute for professional medical advice but rather for your informational gathering. This will hopefully allow for better participation in treatment as well as involvement in the care of yourself and/or for your family member.

Teen Lifeline’s hotline has been a connection of hope for teens in crisis. Some call just needing a listening ear or a shoulder to cry on; others call as a last resort. No matter the reason, Teen Lifeline and our counselors are here 365 days a year ready to listen and help.

Interesting Fact

Albert Einstein had dyslexia.  Being one of the most important great minds of his century Albert Einstein was then known to suffer from dyslexia mainly because of his bad memory and his constant failure to memorize the simplest of things. He would not remember the months in the year yet he would succeed in solving some of the most complicated mathematical formulas of the time without any trouble. He may have never learned how to properly tie his shoelaces but his scientific contributions and theories still have a major effect on all of todays current knowledge of science.
